Ralph Asencio

Ralph Asencio has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical devices industry. Ralph currently holds the position of Vice President Client Portfolio Management at RQM+, a leading MedTech service provider. Their objective in this role is to expand RQM+'s portfolio and relationships with key client accounts by leveraging their expertise in regulatory, quality, clinical, post-market, clinical trial, reimbursement, AI software, and lab services.

Prior to their current role, Ralph served as the Managing Director of the Q&R Practice at RQM+, where they provided consulting expertise in the areas of quality, regulatory, clinical, and post-market for global clients. Ralph also worked closely with the Business Development team to acquire and expand business with key clients in the medical device, IVD, and combination products industries.

Before joining RQM+, Ralph was the Principal Consultant and CEO at onQ Management Consulting LLC. Ralph also worked at Edwards Lifesciences as the Director of Quality and Regulatory Compliance, where they successfully addressed regulatory challenges identified by the FDA and implemented compliance requirements for combination products. Ralph also built a strong relationship with the FDA office in San Juan.

Ralph has vast experience at Philips Healthcare, where they served as the Head of Quality and Regulatory Affairs for the Sleep and Respiratory Care division. Ralph also held the role of Director of Quality and Regulatory for the Home Respiratory Care division, where they led a team responsible for business support across multiple facilities.

At Baxter Healthcare, Ralph was the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance for the hemodialysis equipment business. Ralph successfully turned around a site that received a US FDA Warning Letter, resulting in the closure of the letter within two years.

Ralph Asencio has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad de Puerto Rico and a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
