Science Facility Design Practice Thought Leader, Laboratory Architect And Vice President at RS&H

Michael P. Vascellaro, AIA, NCARB has a diverse range of work experience in the architecture field. Michael P. started their career as a draftsman and project architect at William E. Tschumy, Jr. Architect in 1978. Here, they learned the importance of serving clients with knowledge, integrity, and a passion for the craft of architecture.

In 1984, Vascellaro joined Flad & Associates, Inc. in Florida, where they focused on laboratory and research facilities. Michael P. progressed through various roles, including architect, project manager, principal, and finally managing principal of the Florida Office. During their time at Flad, they received mentorship from key individuals and expanded their knowledge base.

In 2003, Vascellaro joined RS&H, a facilities and infrastructure design firm. Michael P. initially served as the Science Facility Design Practice Leader and later became the Science Facility Design Practice Thought Leader, Laboratory Architect, and Vice President. In this role, Vascellaro led the development of facility assessments, master plans, programs, plans, and designs for research, development, and production facilities both domestically and internationally.

Throughout their career, Vascellaro has demonstrated leadership and expertise in laboratory facility planning and design.

Michael P. Vascellaro, AIA, NCARB graduated from the University of Miami in 1978 with a BArch degree in Architecture. Prior to that, they attended St. Francis Preparatory from 1969 to 1973.
