Data Scientist at RSP Systems A/S

Christian Valdemar Lorenzen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Christian Valdemar is currently working as a Data Scientist at RSP Systems A/S, where they are involved in developing data models to predict glucose levels using non-invasive technology.

Prior to this, Lorenzen worked at Universal Robots A/S, starting as a Software Developer and progressing to the position of Scrum Master and Senior Software Developer. Christian Valdemar also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern Denmark, conducting research in algorithms and partial differential equations.

Lorenzen has a background in applied mathematics, having completed their PhD in the subject at the University of Southern Denmark. Their research work was commended for its pioneering analysis on real experimental data and required proficiency in technical skills.

Christian Valdemar completed their education at various institutions beginning with their Higher Education degree at Odense Tekniske Gymnasium - HTX from 2005 to 2008. Christian Valdemar then pursued further studies at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Mathematics from 2009 to 2012.

Building on this foundation, Christian continued their academic journey at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, earning a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from 2012 to 2014. Christian Valdemar further deepened their expertise by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics at the same institution from 2014 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Christian Valdemar Lorenzen has also acquired certifications to expand their skillset. Christian Valdemar obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Storm - House of Six Sigma in April 2019. Furthermore, they recently acquired the Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in November 2021. These certifications showcase their commitment to professional development and staying updated with industry standards.
