Anna Feeney is an experienced communications and volunteer development professional, currently serving as the LIFE Raft Communications and Volunteer Development Manager at the RSPB since January 2020. Prior roles at RSPB included LIFE Raft Communications Manager and PR Executive. Previously, Anna worked as a Science Writer at UNEP-WCMC, where communications for the organization were developed within a small team. Additional experience includes roles as Communications Officer and Assistant at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, where social media management and media relations were key responsibilities, and as a Junior Science Writer at the Center for Ecology and Hydrology, focusing on content creation and editing. Anna holds a Master’s Degree in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Cambridge.
