Brian Darby

Brian Darby is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in project management and IT governance. Currently serving as Senior Project Manager at RSPB since January 2022, Darby previously held the position of Head of Information Technology at North Star Housing Group and sought new roles after returning to the UK in November 2021. With extensive experience at Nissan Motor Manufacturing Ltd., Darby managed IT operations governance across the Renault-Nissan Alliance, focusing on contract management and system integrations. Earlier roles include Assistant Head of ICT at Xentrall Shared Services, ICT Manager at Borough Council, and Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer. Darby holds an MBA in Public Sector Management from Teesside University.
