Amanda Gadrow

Amanda Gadrow is the Director of QA & Support at RStudio. Amanda has over fifteen years of experience in quality assurance and software engineering.

Amanda began their career as a QA Engineer at Blue Agave Software, Inc. in October 2003. In November 2005, they joined BladeLogic as a QA Engineer. Amanda remained with the company until June 2007 when they joined n2N Commerce as a Senior QA Engineer. Amanda left n2N Commerce in December 2007 to join Brightcove as a Software Engineer in Test.

At Brightcove, Amanda was responsible for writing, maintaining, and executing both manual and automated test cases that exercise the server and client functions of same. Amanda also served as technical Product Owner for their team, organizing and prioritizing the backlog of feature stories based on internal and external customer requirements. Amanda left Brightcove in March 2016 to join RStudio as Director of QA & Support.

Amanda Gadrow has a BA in Music from Kenyon College and an MA in Musicology from Brandeis University.
