Alan Verschoyle-King

Alan Verschoyle-King has extensive work experience in the financial services industry, specifically in transaction banking. Alan has held various leadership roles throughout their career.

From 2023, Alan has been working at RTGS.global as the Head of Business Development, EMEA. Prior to this, they were the Executive Vice President at TradeHelp™ from September 2022 to February 2023.

Alan worked at MUFG from February 2019 to May 2022, where they served as the Head of Cash & Liquidity Management EMEA. In this role, they were responsible for developing and maintaining working capital relationships with clients across the region.

From October 2017 to January 2019, Alan worked at Western Union as the Global Head of Financial Institutions & Channel Partners, Payments. Alan was responsible for managing relationships with financial institutions and partner clients globally.

Alan was with BNY Mellon from April 2011 to October 2017. Alan served as the Global Head of Sales & Relationship Management and Head of EMEA, Treasury Services. Prior to BNY Mellon, Alan worked at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as the Group Head of AML Compliance from January 2004 to February 2006. Alan also served as the Head of Transaction Banking, EMEA, where they managed various functions supporting the firm's clients.

From January 1998 to August 2000, Alan worked at Bank of America as the Regional Head of Transaction Banking, EMEA. Alan was responsible for serving corporate and institutional clients in the region.

Alan's earlier experience includes roles at Barclays and Citi. At Barclays, they served as the Global Head of Product Management, Payments & Cash Management, and Global Head of Sales & Marketing, Payments & Cash Management. At Citi, they held various roles, including Head of Corporates, EMEA Transaction Banking, EMEA Team Leader - Client Coverage, and Relationship Manager - Financial Institutions.

Alan Verschoyle-King attended Annan Academy from 1974 to 1980. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at The University of Edinburgh in 1980, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and successfully completed it in 1985. Additionally, they studied Law as their field of study during their time at The University of Edinburgh.
