Keon Bowman, CISSP

Keon Bowman, CISSP, has a strong background in cybersecurity and information technology. Keon is currently working as a Cyber Security Validator at RTL Networks since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Data Center Technician at Texas Legislative Council starting in December 2022.

Before transitioning to the civilian sector, Keon served in the United States Air Force from 2016 to 2022. During their time in the Air Force, they gained experience as a Cyber Security Specialist from January 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they worked as a System Administrator from May 2016 to January 2020.

Keon Bowman, CISSP, has a diverse education history in the field of information technology and management. Keon obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology from the University of Arkansas Grantham from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Technology Management at the American InterContinental University from 2017 to 2018. Keon also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, which they earned from 2016 to 2018.

In the future, Keon plans to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering at Western Governors University, with the anticipated completion from 2023 to 2024. Keon is also focused on enhancing their skills in data science and has obtained a certificate in the field from the Digital Workshop Center in 2023.

In addition to their educational achievements, Keon holds multiple certifications in the field of information security. Keon has obtained the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification from EC-Council in January 2023. Keon also earned the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in November 2016. Furthermore, they hold the esteemed Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², which they obtained in November 2020.
