William A. Hecht

William A. Hecht received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Ohio and went on to receive a Juris doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1982. Hecht joined Eltman, Eltman & Cooper, P.C.in 1984and became a managing attorney within two years. He was a partner in the firm from 1990 to 2002. He then started his own practice, William A. Hecht, P.C., specializing in consumer and insurance collections for healthcare providers. Mr. Hecht was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1983, the New Jersey State Bar in 1985, and the Pennsylvania State Bar in 1990. Hecht is also admitted to the U.S.District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the American Collectors Association MembersAttorney Program, and the NewYork Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management Association.
