Brett Schlegel

Brett Schlegel has a diverse background in transportation and logistics. Brett started their career at Ruan Transportation Management Systems in 2008, where they held various roles including Logistics Specialist and Account Manager. During their time there, they managed 3rd Party Logistics operations and relationships, analyzed key performance indicator metrics, and managed carrier relationships and performance data. In 2011, they joined XPO Logistics, Inc. as a Logistics Account Manager, where they were responsible for managing 9 accounts and a $65 million annual freight spend. Brett also led a team of Load Coordinators and implemented business and technology processes to improve cost efficiency. In 2014, Brett returned to Ruan Transportation Management Systems as the Director of Logistics. Brett recently transitioned to the role of Vice President of Operations, Managed Transportation, where they are currently responsible for overseeing operations and managing transportation services.

Brett Schlegel attended Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management.
