Jennifer Knipe

Principal Engineer, Process Development at Rubi Laboratories

Jennifer Knipe has held various roles in the scientific and engineering fields since 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University's Department of Chemical Engineering, and a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow, Research Fellow, and Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from 2010 to 2015. From 2009 to 2010, they were a Project Management Intern at the National Energy Technology Laboratory. From 2015 to 2021, they were a Materials Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and a Lead Senior Scientist, Biomaterial Development at MycoWorks from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are a Senior Process Engineer at Rubi Laboratories.

Jennifer Knipe obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University in 2010, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2014.
