John Lokerse

John Lokerse has a diverse work experience, primarily in the fields of DevOps, software development, and cloud engineering. John started their career as a Stagiair at Simplexxion in 2012 and later worked as a Stagiair Development at Delft University of Technology in 2016. In 2017, they joined Delta-N as a Software Developer and later transitioned into the role of a DevOps Consultant. John also worked as a Student Assistant and Facilitair Medewerker at Delft University of Technology during this time. In 2019, John worked as a Software Developer at NATO and a PowerApps Consultant at Mammoet. John then joined Wigo4it as a DevOps Consultant in 2020 before moving on to InSpark | Innovate to Accelerate as an Azure Cloud Engineer. Currently, they are working at Rubicon Cloud Advisor as a DevOps Consultant and the Area Lead for Azure DevOps & GitHub.

John Lokerse obtained a Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology (BICT) from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, completing their education from 2014 to 2018, with a focus on Informatics. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) from Microsoft in 2022, Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions (AZ-400), Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, and Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions (AZ-204) in 2021, Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in 2019, and Exam 480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 from Microsoft in 2018. John also acquired Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in 2018.
