Josh McMahan

Josh McMahan has a diverse work experience in the field of waste management and smart city initiatives. Josh is currently working at Rubicon as the Director of Smart City Customer Success. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Manager of Customer Success at Rubicon. Before joining Rubicon, Josh worked for the City of Raleigh Municipal Government, where they held various roles including Solid Waste Core Services Superintendent and Acting Assistant Director of Operations. Josh also worked as a Solid Waste Manager at the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina. In their earlier career, Josh worked as a Field Operations Supervisor for Solid Waste at the City of Raleigh, where they managed and supervised daily collection and routes, including specialized event crews. Overall, Josh has demonstrated expertise in waste management operations and administration, as well as customer success in the smart city sector.

Josh McMahan received their Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Western Carolina University, where they attended from 2009 to 2013. Josh also obtained a certification in "Improving Your Leadership Communications" from LinkedIn in 2021.
