Jonah Ellinger

Jonah Ellinger is the current Chief Technical Officer at Rubiko. Jonah has over 25 years of experience in the software development industry.

Ellinger got their start in 1995 as a software developer at Illusion Machines, Inc. Jonah then transitioned to freelancing in 1998 and worked on a variety of projects for different companies. In 2004, they joined Exemplar Technologies, Inc. as a lead software developer. There they worked on developing web-based applications and data processing/analysis running on Azure, AWS and dedicated servers using C#, Go, SQL, AngularJS, Bootstrap and JQuery.

In 2014, Ellinger left Exemplar Technologies to join Xclaim Mobile as their lead software developer. At Xclaim Mobile, they were responsible for developing full stack software for managing mobile wallets (iOS Passbook, Android Pay, Microsoft Wallet) with the back-end written in Go running on Google App Engine with supporting services written in C# and SQL running Microsoft Azure.

In 2016, Ellinger left Xclaim Mobile to join Weft Software as their Chief Technical Officer. Jonah held this position until 2018 when they left to join Rubiko as their CTO.

Jonah Ellinger completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin.

They work with Enrique Calero - Payment & Fraud Manager, George Witham - Operations Manager, and Paulina Coronado - People & Ops. Jonah Ellinger reports to Harpo Lilja, CEO.
