Engineering Team

The Engineering Team at Rubin Observatory is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and performance of the observatory's systems and equipment. The Commissioning Engineer optimizes the functionality of the telescope and its subsystems; the Systems Verification Engineer validates and tests integrated systems to ensure they meet scientific and operational requirements; and the Mechanical Design Engineer designs and refines mechanical components to support the observatory's advanced imaging capabilities for the Legacy Survey of Space and Time.
