Jake Dejarnette

Jake DeJarnette, CPA, currently serves as a Tax Manager at RubinBrown LLP since June 2022, bringing substantial experience from prior roles, including Tax Manager and Senior Tax Associate at JMW & Associates, LLC. Jake began as a Tax Associate at JMW & Associates in January 2017 and previously worked as a Barista at Starbucks from September 2013 to December 2016, where contributions included coaching coworkers on service standards and improving customer satisfaction ratings. Additionally, Jake gained foundational experience as a Corporate Tax Intern at Grant Thornton LLP, assisting with federal compliance and research. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the same institution.
