Leon Leonard

Leon Leonard is an experienced project manager and master sinker with a comprehensive background in mining and construction. Currently employed at GCR Mongolia since November 2019 as a Project Manager, Leon has also been a Master Sinker at RUC Cementation Mining Contractors Pty Ltd since August 2018 and previously held the same position at Murray & Roberts from October 2013 to August 2018. Leon's career began at Shaft Sinkers (Pty) Limited from 2001 to 2009, where roles ranged from Sinker and Shift Foreman to Jumbo Driller. Other notable positions include Site Manager at Grinaker-LTA and Pipe Fitter at ABC Recruitment. Leon's areas of expertise include shaft sinking, construction of crusher chambers, civil works, and project management. Education includes attendance at Secunda High School.
