David Fenner

ANZ Sales & Channel Director at RUCKUS Networks

David Fenner has extensive work experience in sales and management roles within the technology industry. David started their career at Visolux as a Field Sales & Service Engineer before moving to Datalogic as an Account Manager. Fenner then joined Micromax as a Sales Representative for Accusort Systems and later worked as an Account Manager at Bar Code Systems. In 2002, they joined Symbol Technologies as a Key Account Manager, where they successfully introduced new products to the transport and logistics market. Fenner continued to excel at Symbol Technologies, progressing to the role of Regional Sales Manager, leading a team of account managers, channel managers, and pre-sales engineers. In 2009, they joined Motorola Solutions (formerly Symbol Technologies) as a Regional Sales Manager, overseeing a sales team responsible for generating $50 million in revenue. Fenner later took on the role of Manager, Enterprise Solutions - Retail at Motorola Solutions, where they achieved significant sales goals and secured a $12 million managed services deal. In 2016, Fenner joined Ruckus Networks as the Distribution & Channel Manager for Australia and New Zealand, and was subsequently promoted to ANZ Sales & Channel Director. In this role, they successfully managed the sales team, negotiated a significant deal with the New Zealand Ministry of Education, and developed cross-selling strategies. Throughout their career, Fenner has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, relationship-building skills, and a drive for achieving sales targets and organizational growth.

David Fenner obtained an HND degree in Electrical & Electronics from Anglia Ruskin University, where they studied from 1986 to 1988.
