Strategic Initiatives Manager at Run for Something

Neha Khurana has a diverse work experience spanning different sectors. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Sales Associate at Pine Needle Mountaineering, where they provided customer service and gear support. In 2017, Neha interned at the Women's Wilderness Institute, assisting with logistics and field instruction for outdoor courses. Neha then instructed at Outward Bound California in 2018, facilitating experiential education programs. From 2016 to 2018, Neha served as a Development Associate at Prescott College, supporting fundraising campaigns and donor relations. In 2019, they worked as a Member Support Coordinator at the American Conservation Experience, overseeing recruitment and training for environmental projects. In 2020, Neha was a Campaign Organizer at The Outreach Team, mobilizing members for climate policy advocacy. Neha continued their work at The Outreach Team in 2021, first as a Campaign Organizer for the Electrification Coalition and then as the National Partnerships Director, responsible for managing a remote team and developing training materials. Neha also served as a Legislative Aide at the Senate of Virginia in 2022. Currently, Neha is working as the Strategic Initiatives Manager at Run for Something, a position they started in 2023. Throughout their career, Neha has demonstrated expertise in project management, partnership building, grassroots organizing, and environmental advocacy.

Neha Khurana obtained a Bachelor's degree in Adventure Education from Prescott College. Neha attended Prescott College from 2016 to 2018. Prior to attending Prescott College, Neha Khurana also pursued Adventure Education at Fort Lewis College from 2015 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Neha Khurana has obtained several certifications. Neha obtained Avalanche I certification from the American Avalanche Association in January 2017, Wilderness First Responder certification from NOLS Wilderness Medicine in January 2017, and Single Pitch Instructor certification from the American Mountain Guides Association in October 2017.
