Elina G.

Elina G. has a diverse work experience in the field of software development, particularly in frontend engineering. Elina has held various roles in different companies.

Starting from 2014, Elina worked at Atomic Motion as a Frontend Developer until 2015. Elina then joined Baytek as a Frontend Developer from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they moved to RESAAS as a Frontend Software Engineer until 2018.

In 2018, Elina joined Mogo as a Senior Frontend Developer, where they built and maintained Prepaid Visa Card features. Elina also contributed to frontend stack development using PugJS, ES6, and SCSS. Their work involved Git Flow and Agile frameworks.

From 2020 to 2022, Elina worked at Commit as a Senior Software Engineer. Elina served as a frontend Subject Matter Expert and the Backend for Frontend layer owner. Elina defined code standards, architecture, and implemented product design guidance. Elina also took ownership of a community and matchmaking platform.

In 2012, Elina started working at Sharp End Solutions as a Software Consultant. Their responsibilities included providing consulting services, refactoring legacy code, developing greenfield web and mobile apps, and offering advice on frontend matters to startups and enterprises.

Currently, Elina is employed at Rune Labs as a Senior Frontend Engineer, a role they started in 2023.

Elina G. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a specialization in BA Honours from the University of Ottawa from 2010 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Post-Graduate Certificate in Interactive Multimedia from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, which they completed in 2014.
