Leila Tamari

Leila Tamari is the Underwriting Manager at RUNWAY, a financial innovation firm focused on closing the racial wealth gap. Leila is also the Founder and Principal of This Place Works, operating at the intersection of art, culture, design, community development, and reparative capital. Leila is a Board Member at OF/BY/FOR ALL, providing tools for civic and cultural organizations. Previously, Leila was a Senior Program Officer at ArtPlace America and a Program Coordinator at Creative Time. Leila participated in the Coro Leadership New York program and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History with a Museums Concentration from Smith College.
