Darren Williams

Darren Williams is a Traineeship Teacher at Runway Training. Prior to this, Darren was an Employability Trainer at Maximus UK from October 2020 to September 2021. Darren's duties at Maximus included meeting personal performance targets, key performance indicators and all quality and compliance measures by delivering high quality training provision to customers, employees and stakeholders, both remotely and face to face. Darren was also accountable for meeting targets, which will included delivering an agreed number of session per week and month. Lastly, Darren supported Employment Advisers and other appropriate stakeholders with customer action plans to support the customer progress towards suitable and sustainable employment.

Before working at Maximus, Darren was a Learner Support/ English and Maths Tutor at Lifetime Training from October 2017 to August 2020. As a Learner Support/ English and Maths Tutor, Darren managed a caseload of 70 aims, delivered Functional Skills Qualifications in English and Maths at Level 1 and 2 in a workplace environment, assessed learners, worked to deadlines, and worked to awarding body guidance. Darren also helped and supported learners with different learning difficulties to be able to pass Functional Skills exams.

Darren is very flexible, hardworking and reliable; in short, going the extra mile for the learners they teach and assesses.

Darren Williams has completed nine GCSEs at Oakmeeds School.

They work with Connie Mayo - Traineeship Teaching Assistant, Caoimhe Fleming - Traineeship Teacher, and Natasha Malem - Traineeship Teacher. Darren Williams reports to Rebecca Bowen, Delivery Manager - Traineeships.
