Rudolfs Jekabsons has a wealth of experience in the geology field. Rudolfs began their career in 2011 as a Junior Geologist for Belvedere Resources Finland Oy, where they were responsible for geological bedrock mapping, collection of bedrock samples, and boulder searching for gold and base metal projects. In 2014, they worked as a Geologist for both Ginguro Exploration and LEGMC. In 2016, they were a Quarry Preparation Specialist for Latvijas valsts meži, where their main duties included planning and organizing tasks to open sand, gravel, dolomite, and peat quarries. Rudolfs then worked as a Geologist for Aurora Exploration Inc. in 2018, where they were a consulting geologist in cooperation with Kazzinc on a gold exploration project in East Kazakhstan. Rudolfs was also a Field Geologist for SIA Geolite that same year. In 2020, they became a Project Geologist for Terrafame Ltd, where they participated in a large-scale black schist Ni-Zn-Cu-Co resource drilling project. Currently, they are a Senior Project Geologist for Rupert Resources, where they are managing the Ikkari project, including infill and exploration drill planning, auger and other near surface investigations, and hydrogeology project management.
Rudolfs Jekabsons obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology/Earth Science, General from Latvijas Universitate between 2008 and 2011. Rudolfs then pursued a Master's Degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from the same university between 2011 and 2014. In 2013, they completed a Bedrock mapping and Ore Prospecting course at Saint Petersburg State University and an ERASMUS exchange studies in Geology course at Turun yliopisto - University of Turku.
