Sonja Schurig, MBA has over 20 years of experience in product management, software quality assurance, and project management. Sonja started their career in 2001 as an Advisory Specialist at IBM, where they worked at customer sites to expedite software products to precise client specifications. In 2004, they moved to LANDesk Software as a Manager of Software Quality Assurance, where they managed a QA team for large-scale projects. In 2010, they joined Fusion-io as a Manager of System Level Test, where they managed 23+ QA Engineers across multiple states and countries. In 2012, they joined MartizCX (formerly Allegiance) as a Product Manager, providing product development expertise during rapid expansion. In 2015, they moved to Degreed as a Director of Product Management, where they grew revenue by launching several new products. In 2021, they joined WorkStep as a VP of Product, leading product and design teams and establishing product and design processes for two product lines. Currently, they are a VP of Product at Rupie, a talent sourcing platform optimized for the Games and Web3 industries.

Sonja Schurig, MBA has an extensive education history. Sonja obtained their Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Brigham Young University in 2001. From 2008 to 2010, they earned their Executive MBA from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business. Sonja is currently enrolled in Stanford University Graduate School of Business and is pursuing a degree in Innovative Product Leadership. In addition to their degrees, Sonja has obtained several certifications, including Certified VOC Professional from Allegiance, Inc. in 2012, Certified Scrum Professional and Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in 2012, Certified LANDesk Engineer from LANDesk Software in 2006, Pragmatic Marketing Certified from Pragmatic Marketing/Institute in 2013, and SVPG Empowered Product Leadership Workshop and SVPG Inspired Product Manager Workshop from Silicon Valley Product Group in 2020 and 2018 respectively.
