Joshua Gopeesingh

Joshua Gopeesingh, Ph.D., currently serves as an Associate at Exponent since January 2023. Prior to this role, Joshua worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Sandia National Laboratories, where responsibilities included diagnosing catalytic converter performance, conducting technoeconomic analyses on sustainable technologies, and developing strategies for industrial decarbonization. Joshua also held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, focusing on electrocatalysis and electrochemical systems to enhance renewable energy transformation. Joshua’s academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Syracuse University, where research involved hydrodeoxygenation for sustainable chemical production and catalyst synthesis. Previous research assistant roles were completed at Hampton University, Syracuse University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
