Saddam Arbaa

Saddam Arbaa has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering.

In 2015, they worked as a coding mentor, future peer counselor, and community representative at IOM - UN Migration Indonesia. Saddam was part of a team that helped refugees in Immigration Detention Centre Tanjungpinang and advocated for refugee education.

Starting in 2020, Saddam worked on open-source projects, developing and managing a REST API using NodeJS, Express, MongoDB, and TypeScript. Saddam also built the front end of applications using React, Redux, NextJS, and TailWind CSS. Saddam resolved production issues using React Native, Expo, React Navigation, TypeScript, and Redux.

In 2021, Saddam joined Clever Programmer as a Peer Success Mentor. Saddam mentored students in Python and JavaScript, preparing lesson plans and hosting sessions on coding concepts, web development, and problem-solving skills.

Saddam also worked as a Software Engineer at Phoenix Software Solutions LLC in 2021, where they developed and managed websites using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.

Currently, Saddam is a Software Engineer at RushOwl. Saddam collaborates with a team to create a new Dashboard and prioritizes feature requests. Saddam participates in Tech team meetings and uses Sentry to track production issues. Their tech stack includes React, React Native, Redux, Next.js, TypeScript, TailWind CSS, Node.js, Golang, Jest, Jenkins, Docker, Agile, and GitLab.

Saddam Arbaa began their education journey in 2018 when they enrolled in Google pour les pros and pursued the Google IT Support Professional Certificate. In 2019, they continued their studies at HarvardX, where they completed the CS50 course, focusing on various programming languages such as Scratch, C, Python, JavaScript, SQL, and OOP. Additionally, they gained knowledge in Data Structures & Algorithms, HTML, CSS, and Flask.

In 2020, Saddam Arbaa joined Clever Programmer to become a full-stack developer. Saddam gained proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS, Node.js, MongoDB, and Data Structures & Algorithms.

Furthermore, Saddam Arbaa pursued a Full-Stack Software Engineer certification through Academind, where they studied Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures & Algorithms, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React JS.

Alongside their formal education, Saddam Arbaa obtained several certifications on platforms such as Coursera.
