Cornelia Tänzler

Cornelia Tänzler has over 25 years of experience in the executive search industry. Cornelia started their career at Korn/Ferry International as a Senior Associate and Client Partner, where they gained international and Swiss market experience. Cornelia then became a Managing Partner at Heads! Executive Consultancy, specializing in luxury, fashion, and retail sectors. Cornelia successfully set up and managed a new office, and conducted executive searches in Switzerland and abroad. In 2015, they joined Boyden as the Founding Partner of Boyden Geneva and Managing Partner of Boyden Switzerland. In this role, they were responsible for search and evaluation of directors, CEOs, and members of general management in various sectors. Cornelia also served as the Global Consumer & Retail Practice Leader, overseeing global sector activities and enhancing cross-border collaboration. Currently, they are a Partner & Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates, where they lead the Switzerland team in assessing competencies and cultural fit for board members, CEOs, and leadership teams.

Cornelia Tänzler started their education by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management from EHL. Cornelia then pursued further studies and completed an MBA from Business School Lausanne (BSL) in the years 1991-1993. In 2014-2015, they attended the University of St.Gallen, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Recently, in 2021-2022, Cornelia Tänzler attended IMD and obtained a High Performance Boards / IMD Board Diploma, focusing on Organizational Leadership.
