Sherrie Balmer

Sherrie Balmer has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years in various industries. Sherrie started their career as a Regional Business Development Manager at Supreme Insulation from 1996 to 1999, where they consistently exceeded company sales goals and developed new business opportunities.

From 1999 to 2011, Sherrie worked as a Managing Partner and Business and Marketing Strategist at MWSP, LLC. Sherrie provided marketing and communication solutions, created jobs during the Great Recession, and managed a special events division.

Sherrie then joined RH as a Trade Specialist and Co-Manager from 2010 to 2012, exceeding sales expectations and achieving significant growth for the Leawood location.

Afterwards, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Renewal by Andersen in 2012 and helped increase sales leads and revenue.

From 2013 to 2016, Sherrie served as the Director of Communications and Marketing at Marillac Children's Psychiatric Hospital, managing various responsibilities such as maintaining brand consistency, driving referrals and admissions, and coaching teams.

Sherrie then became a Business Development Manager at Herman Miller from 2017 to 2019, where they focused on revenue development, strategic partnerships, and adding value during sales.

From 2019 to 2022, Sherrie worked as a Business Development Executive at PARIC Corporation, where they played a key role in increasing revenue through new client relationships, developing strategic plans, and generating new opportunities.

Currently, Sherrie holds the position of Director of Business Development at Russell Co., starting in 2023.

Sherrie Balmer has a diverse education background in various fields. Sherrie attended Northern Arizona University, where they studied Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Sherrie also attended Metropolitian Community College, focusing on Business. Sherrie then pursued Communication and Media Studies at Missouri State University and Health and Wellness, General at Harvard Extension School.

In addition to their university education, Sherrie obtained a Certification in the Construction Management Program from Columbia University. Sherrie further enhanced their skills by completing a Certificate in Renewables in Design from the University of Colorado Boulder, which they obtained in 2022.

Sherrie's commitment to professional development is evident through their additional certifications. Sherrie obtained a Training Certificate from Sources of Strength in November 2022. Sherrie also holds an ASHE Healthcare Construction Certificate from the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE), obtained in July 2022. Moreover, Sherrie has completed Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training and Mental Health First Aid certifications.
