As a Job and Internship developer, it is my primary goal to manage employer outreach strategies within the Food, Agriculture, Environment, and Natural Resources, as well as Education, Human Services, and Non-Profits career communities. Doing so affords key strategic organizations the opportunity to build a meaningful and long-lasting brand within the Rutgers eco-system, while also allowing Rutgers University student and alumni talent to thrive within internships and ultimately careers, post-graduation.
Prior to joining Career Exploration and Success, I navigated Higher Education as a Campus Recruiter for Northwestern Mutual, where, on the other side, I worked to source national top talent for our firm. Additionally, I navigated the volatility of start-up culture, learning to design, test, and ultimately pivot in the face of failure through my work with TRIC Robotics, an autonomous robotic solution to sustainable farming, and as a Program Coordinator with the Entrepreneurial Leadership Center at East Stroudsburg University.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from The College of New Jersey and I obtained my master’s degree in Human Resource Management right here at Rutgers University in the School of Management and Labor Relations.
My advice to students is to create a meaningful academic and professional journey for yourself, get involved and make friends. Think critically about the things you enjoy during the journey and how they might translate to a meaningful career.
