Varuni Dantanarayana

Varuni Dantanarayana is a Data Scientist at Health IQ since July 2021, with prior experience as a Data Science Postdoctoral Scholar at Sandia National Laboratories and a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science. Noteworthy projects include consulting for a biotech startup to enhance drug binding prediction using machine learning and deep learning, resulting in improved accuracy over industry standards. Varuni has also developed a multi-task computer vision model predicting age and gender, and conducted predictive analysis on Stack Overflow response rates. Earlier experience includes an internship at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where a novel predictive simulation algorithm was designed, significantly enhancing model efficiency. Additionally, Varuni founded and operated a successful bakery, maintaining strong customer relations and achieving an 80% profit margin. Varuni holds a PhD in Quantum Chemistry from the University of California, Davis.
