Deo Uwimpuhwe

Deo UWIMPUHWE is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University Africa, contributing to various courses including GIS, Machine Learning for Earth Observation, Data Analytics, and Data Inference and Applied Machine Learning. Duties involve assisting students and supporting instructors in workshop preparation. Deo also serves as a focal person for e-mobility studies at Rwanda Energy Group, overseeing projects related to EV charging infrastructure and energy frameworks for battery electric buses, while holding positions as a Quality Assurance Engineer and Project Engineer. Additionally, Deo is a Data Scientist Intern at AKADEMIYA2063, utilizing deep learning models for carbon sink estimation. Education includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University Africa and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Rwanda.
