Bas Bloeming

Bas Bloeming has extensive experience in the maritime industry, currently serving as a Verkeersleider scheepvaart at RWS since September 2001, overseeing navigation on the Amsterdamrijnkanaal. Previously, from May 2007 to December 2010, Bas held the role of Rooster planner at RWS, managing schedules for the traffic post and vessels in the Utrecht water district. Before joining RWS, Bas worked as a Kapitein/ Gezagvoerder at Hartborg SA from 1997 to September 2001, operating various ships specializing in chemicals and liquefied gases. Additionally, Bas has a background as a Kapitein in the inland shipping sector from 1990 to 2001, primarily focusing on tank vessels transporting mineral oils and heavy chemicals. Bas completed education at Rijn en binnenvaartschool LBO/MBO from 1989 to 1991 and attained the Nationale Nautische Verkeersdienst Opleiding at NNVO between 2001 and 2002.
