Andy Burrows

Andy Burrows has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andy started their career as an IBM CICS Systems Programmer at Prudential in 1989. From 1994 to 1996, they worked as a Network Administrator at Excelsior Superannuation. Andy then joined Sealcorp in 1996 as the 2IC adviserNET HelpDesk support member and eventually became the Team Leader of a subset group. In 1998, Andy became the Manager of IT Infrastructure & Services at Racing & Wagering WA (RWWA), where they were responsible for managing various IT operations and infrastructure. Andy also had the opportunity to act as the General Manager Information Services (CIO) at RWWA for a few months in 2017. Currently, they hold the role of Platform Operations Engineer at RWWA, where they gain hands-on cloud experience while reducing their hours to focus on learning new skills in areas like IoT and Machine Learning.
