Ashish Atreja, MD, MPH has been working in the healthcare industry since 2000. Ashish began their career at the Cleveland Clinic as an Internal Medicine Resident in 2000, followed by an Informatics Fellow in 2002. In 2005, they became the Lead Physician Liaison, Inpatient Epic and Staff Physician at the Cleveland Clinic. In 2008, they were a Gastroenterology Staff and Fellow, Gastroenterology Cleveland Clinic and Informatics Consultant for Cleveland CTSA. In 2016, they became the Scientific Founder and Board Member at Rx. Health, and in 2017 they became the Founding Chair of the Association of Digital Medicine at NODE. Health. In 2021, they began their current role as the Chief Information and Digital Health Officer at UC Davis Health.

Ashish Atreja, MD, MPH has a long and impressive educational history. Ashish obtained their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1993-1999. Ashish then attended University of Illinois Chicago and earned their MPH in Epidemiology and Health Behavior in 1999-2000. After that, they completed a Post Graduate Fellowship in Medical Informatics from Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in 2003-2005, followed by an Informatics Certificate Course from Health and Science Jobs in 2003-2004. Finally, they completed a Residency in Gastroenterology and Informatics Fellowship from Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in 2000-2012.
