Michael Burke has extensive experience in project management and Agile methodologies. Michael started their career in 1998 as an IT Project Manager at Bridge Information Systems. Michael then worked at BearingPoint as a Manager IT, overseeing various projects for communication and marketing industries. At Thomson Reuters, they served as a Global IT Program Manager, leading a team of project managers and delivering large-scale, global projects.
In 2011, Michael joined Enterprise Holdings as a Senior Manager in various roles, including Digital Product Development Project Management Office (PMO) and Product Manager II for enterprise.com. Michael also served as Senior Manager for IT in Consumer Mobile Applications and Program/Portfolio Management: Infrastructure.
Following their tenure at Enterprise Holdings, Michael joined Verizon as a Senior Manager in the Agile Project Management Office. Michael then joined American AgCredit as a Senior Scrum Master/Agile Coach, where they guided the Data Platform team and established Agile practices across the association.
In 2022, Michael joined Capital One as a Senior Manager - Agile Program Lead (RTE), where they led a team of Agile Delivery Leads and drove strategic solutions as the Release Train Engineer across 12 agile teams.
Michael's most recent work experience is at RxBenefits, Inc. as a Senior Manager - Scrum Team, starting in 2023.
Michael Burke obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. Michael also holds various additional certifications acquired from different institutions, including certifications in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), Kanban, ICAgile, Scrum, and Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid.
