Nirmal Amirthalingam

Nirmal Amirthalingam has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2018, they worked as an intern at Mango Education and also had an inplant training role at SunWind Enterprises. In 2021, they joined Makerdemy as a Software Engineer (IoT), where they implemented a home automation system and co-authored a course on openHAB 3.0. In the same year, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech Bradley Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering. In 2022, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at AreaProbe. In 2023, they started working at RxLive as a Business Intelligence and Data Visualization Engineer.

Nirmal Amirthalingam completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham between 2016 and 2020. Nirmal then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech, which they are expected to complete between 2021 and 2023.
