Ileana Lazala Bas

Ileana Lazala BAS, RN has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Ileana is currently working as the Head of US Operations at RxMx, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Central Lab Program Operations Manager at RxMx from March 2021 to July 2022. Before joining RxMx, Ileana worked as the Lab Coordinator Manager at RxMx from September 2019 to March 2021 and as an Informatics Nurse Specialist from June 2018 to September 2019.

In addition to their experience in the healthcare industry, Ileana has also worked as a Publisher for Macaroni Kid, a local online newsletter and website connecting families to events and businesses in the Brandon and South Tampa communities. Ileana took on this role in November 2019 and continues to be involved with the company.

Prior to their roles at RxMx and Macaroni Kid, Ileana worked as a Telehealth Nurse at Lash Group from May 2017 to June 2018 and as a Clinical Case Manager at Humana from March 2012 to May 2017. Ileana also gained valuable experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager/Risk Manager at Manatee Surgical Center from May 2001 to July 2012 and as an Operating Room Circulator at Manatee Memorial Hospital from June 2005 to September 2008.

Throughout their career, Ileana has demonstrated their ability to excel in various roles within the healthcare industry, showcasing their skills and expertise as a nurse, manager, and specialist.

Ileana Lazala BAS, RN has a Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration, Public Relations, and Marketing from St. Petersburg College. Ileana also holds a nursing degree in Registered Nursing from the State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota. Additionally, they have obtained a Product Manager Certificate from Product School in 2020 and is a registered nurse through the State of Florida Department of Health.
