Shane Finnegan

Shane Finnegan has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Shane began their career in 2000 at Misys as a Support Analyst, where they worked until 2003. In 2004, they joined Telcotec as a Software Engineer and stayed there until 2007. During their time at Telcotec, they gained experience in software development. Shane then moved to PADDYPOWER in 2007, starting as a Reporting Analyst and eventually working their way up to the role of BI Applications Manager. In 2015, Finnegan joined Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline, initially as a Senior BI Developer, then as a BI Team Lead, and most recently as the Head of BI Cloud. Shane has demonstrated strong skills in business intelligence and has contributed to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Shane Finnegan began their education journey in 2002 when they enrolled at Dundalk Institute of Technology. Shane pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing and completed their studies there in 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Shane has also obtained several certifications. In March 2018, they earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services. Later, in July 2021, they became a Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate after completing the relevant program offered by Microsoft. More recently, in January 2021, Shane successfully completed the Mastering DAX 2nd Edition Video Course from SQLBI.
