Dave Hancock

Dave Hancock has a diverse work experience in the security solutions industry. Dave started their career at SIS/Burns Security/Wells Fargo in 1979 as a Junior Technician and worked their way up to Senior Technician. During this time, they gained experience in various types of installations, including fire alarm systems. In 1985, they joined ADT as a Senior Access Control Technician and stayed until 1989. Dave then worked for Honeywell Security & Fire as a Sub Contractor from 1989 to 1993, followed by a role as a Sub Contractor at Frisco Bay from 1998 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Reliance Protectron as an Installation Manager, where they managed installations across the Greater Toronto Area, built a team of Technicians and Subcontractors, and reviewed projects with the sales team. Dave continued their career at Peregrine Protection as an Engineered Systems Manager from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, they became the National Implementation Manager at G4S International until 2013. Currently, they work as the Director of Security Solutions at RYCOM.

Dave Hancock attended Westwood Secondary School from 1971 to 1977, where they graduated with a high school diploma. Following this, from 1977 to 1979, they pursued further education at Ryerson Poly Technical, where they obtained a degree as an Electronic Technologist with a focus on Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician.
