Job description

In this vital role reporting directly to the CEO and working alongside the executive team, we’re looking for a dynamic, driven, and ambitious individual with excellent cross-functional communication skills. From day 1 you will have an opportunity to wear many hats and have an immediate impact on Ryp Labs’ productivity by streamlining strategic initiatives, as well as overseeing and supporting operational, financial, sales, marketing, hiring, and communications activities ‐ whatever is the top priority at that time. In this highly visible and multidisciplinary role, you will participate in and support board meetings, executive staff meetings, and setting the vision and strategy for the company. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a business management role and an ability to creatively solve any problem that gets thrown their way with relentless execution.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

• Serve as liaison with staff, executives, senior leaders, and CEO regarding project updates, proposals, and planning

• Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads

• Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications

• Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation

• Support sales, marketing, business development and customer engagement activities

• Develop and build on relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations, and help define new operational strategies by working with CEO and other executives on special projects

• Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them

• Assist the human resources department with new hires, including documentation and onboarding, oversee company’s climate and employee well-being

Minimum Qualifications and Qualities: • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity • Familiar and comfortable with early-stage startups • Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions • Strong project management and reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications

Additional Qualifications/Qualities Desired: • MBA degree, or equivalent • 3-5 years of experience in a business management or executive role • Experience in data analysis and budget management • Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management
