Aras Puodziunas is currently Lead Industrial Designer at RYSE, a company that retrofits existing blinds to make them smart. Prior to this, they were a Product Development Consultant at Canadian Tire Corporation in 2020. From 2018 to 2020, they were an Industrial Design Intern at Inertia Engineering + Design Inc., where they developed an internal road-map for the overall product development process. In 2017, they were challenged by Magna International to design a new approach to controlling the tailgate on trucks, and was awarded the best design along with a financial scholarship. In 2016, they worked in Marketing & Advertising at Lawrence Technological University, where they carried out the design process for a graphic decal to be placed on the new motor-sports trailer.
Aras Puodziunas began their educational journey in 2014 at Humber College, where they obtained a Design Foundations Certificate in Design and Applied Arts. Aras then attended Lawrence Technological University from 2015 to 2017 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial and Product Design. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor of Design in Industrial and Product Design from OCAD University from 2017 to 2019.
