Mukesh Sahdev

Mukesh Sahdev has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Mukesh currently holds the position of SVP - Head of Oil Trading & Downstream Analysis at Rystad Energy since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Shell for 15 years in various roles. Mukesh served as the Global Crude Trading Analytics Lead and Manager Americas at Shell Trading, where they led market analysis for crude oil trading. Mukesh also worked as a Manufacturing Strategy Advisor and Senior Consultant in hydrocarbon management. Before joining Shell, Mukesh worked as a Petroleum Supply Chain Consultant at Aspen Technology. Mukesh began their career at Indian Oil Corporation Limited as a Deputy Manager in optimization.

Mukesh Sahdev completed a Certification in Big Data & Analytics at The University of Texas at Austin from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, they obtained an AI NANODEGREE from Udacity in the field of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance, General at the University of Southern Queensland in Australia from 2011 to 2014. Mukesh Sahdev also holds a B.E in Chemical Engineering with Honors from Panjab University, which they completed from 1989 to 1993. Mukesh attended Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University and Campus School in Hisar for their high school education.
