Paul Smith

Paul has over 20 years’ mining experience working at the forefront of environmental management, community engagement and government relations. Paul has held senior management roles with Consolidated Rutile, Unimin and Sibelco, and group advisory roles with RGC and Iluka.

He specialises in land use planning, environmental management of mines and issues management, with an extensive background in rehabilitation and restoration of ecosystems after mining. Paul experience is unique having also been the senior media spokesperson and government relations expert for both private and government organisations.
