Xiaomin Wang

Xiaomin Wang is a Senior Staff Hydrogeologist at S.S. Papadopulos & Associates, Inc. since October 2012, specializing in the interpretation of hydrogeologic data, groundwater flow modeling, and the development of simulation codes, notably contributing to the testing and documentation of a particle tracking code for the USGS version of MODFLOW. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo focusing on the hydrogeological and financial risks of brownfield redevelopments, and a Contractor position at Geosyntec Consultants developing analytical solutions for passive soil vapor samplers. Xiaomin also conducted research at the University of Stuttgart developing a multi-component model for methane migration analysis and previously researched hydrodynamic effects in lakes as a Student Researcher. Academic credentials include a PhD in Hydrogeology from the University of Waterloo and a Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering and Management from the University of Stuttgart.
