Christine Sio has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Christine began their career as an Associate in the Investment Management Program at Northwater Capital Management Inc. in 2004. Christine then moved on to work as an Associate and later as Merger Arbitrage & Catalyst Strategy in the Institutional Equity division at Scotiabank from 2006 to 2010.

Afterward, Sio worked briefly in the Strategy and Office of Deputy CEO at Kering (Luxury Division) in 2011 before transitioning to Holt Renfrew, where they held various roles. These roles included Analyst in Category Management, Manager in Ecommerce Merchandising, Senior Manager in Ecommerce Onboarding, and Director in Marketing Analytics, Insights & Strategy.

Next, Sio moved to Walmart in 2017 and served as Senior Manager in Ecommerce Merchandise Operations and Director in Site Merchandising, where they were responsible for creating and maintaining content and developing site merchandising strategies.

Most recently, Sio joined SSENSE as Senior Director in Ecommerce Studio & Visual Merchandising, where they oversaw a team of 100+ employees and was responsible for creating content, art direction, visual production, and planning.

In 2019, Sio was promoted to become the VP of Customer Experience at SSENSE, where they defined and implemented a comprehensive shopping experience while leading various teams and driving key growth initiatives.

Throughout their career, Sio has demonstrated a strong focus on customer experience, merchandising strategies, analytics, and team leadership.

Christine Sio has a diverse education history. Christine completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from London Business School from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued Fashion/Apparel Design at George Brown College from 2005 to 2006. Christine also obtained a Master of Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto in 2004, following their Bachelor of Mathematics in Mathematics/Business Administration from the University of Waterloo, which they completed from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, Christine has earned certifications such as the 200-hour Interdisciplinary Yoga Teacher Training from the Nosara Yoga Institute® in 2010 and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute in 2007.
