Paul Boyer

Paul Boyer has a diverse and extensive work experience. Paul started their career as a Ph.D. Student at École Polytechnique de Montréal from January 2007 to August 2012. After that, they worked as a Physics Teacher at Cégep Montmorency from August 2012 to June 2013. Then, they joined MDA Corporation as a Component Engineering & GIDEP Coordinator from July 2013 to August 2017. During this period, they focused on data intelligence initiatives and improving performance in pricing.

In 2017, Paul joined SSENSE as a Data Science Manager. Paul was promoted to the position of Data Science Director in July 2018, where they provided data-oriented solutions to influence decision-making at a business level and led the creation of data-driven solutions. Their last role at SSENSE was Senior Director Data Science, starting from February 2020, in which they drove data intelligence initiatives and improved business performance by overseeing various areas such as pricing, buying intelligence, network planning, performance marketing, recommendation systems, and customer streams.

Paul Boyer earned their Ph.D in Material Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal during the years 2005 to 2012. Paul had previously obtained their degree in Material Engineering from the same institution in 2005.
