José Alberto Serrano Olvera

José Alberto Serrano Olvera has had a varied career in the automotive industry. From 2011 to 2017, they worked for five different companies, beginning with Schaeffler as a Trainee. From there, they moved to Flowserve Corporation as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they were responsible for generating process routes and standardizing processes and procedures. In 2014, they took on a role as Project and Account Management Supervisor at DHL, responsible for process tracking, developing new business opportunities, and managing 15 suppliers. In 2016, they joined SMP Automotive Global as a Program Management Leader and was responsible for managing and supervising personnel, administering and costing engineering changes, and planning and implementing new projects. Finally, in 2017, they joined SA Automotive as a Business Development Manager, Engineering & Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and Program Manager. As Program Manager, they were responsible for managing and coordinating new projects and production series, ensuring project launches were on time and in accordance with APQP methodology, and negotiating with clients based on project-specific needs.

José Alberto Serrano Olvera has an extensive education history. José Alberto obtained a Bachelor's degree in Preparatoria from the Instituto Mexicano Madero in 2003-2006, followed by a Mechatronic Engineer degree from UPAEP between 2006-2015, and a Master's Degree in Sistemas Integrados de Manufactura y Estrategias de Calidad from UPAEP in 2014-2015. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, such as a Management Skills Development certification from SA Automotive in October 2019, a Certified Supply Chain Specialist certification from DHL in July 2015, a Leadership Training certification from DHL in March 2015, a GD&T Training Course certification from Flowserve Corporation in April 2014, a Lean Practitioner certification from Flowserve Corporation in March 2014, a Seals and Pump Course certification from Flowserve Corporation in October 2011, a Yellow Belt certification from Flowserve Corporation in September 2011, and a Diplomado en Robótica y Automatización Industrial certification from Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla in January 2011.
