Bernice Marais

Bernice Marais has a diverse and progressive work experience in the field of taxation. Bernice began their career as a Trainee Accountant at BDO South Africa in January 2013 and successfully completed their role in December 2015. Following that, they joined Deloitte South Africa as an Assistant Manager - Corporate Tax from January 2016 to March 2018. In April 2018, Bernice moved to SA Taxi and held the position of Financial Manager: Taxation until March 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Manager: Group Tax at SA Taxi, starting from March 2022.

Bernice Marais has a diverse education history. In 2008, they completed their Gr. 12 education at Hoërskool Overkruin. Bernice went on to attend the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria and graduated in 2011 with a BCom degree in Accounting. In 2012, Bernice completed their Bcom (Hons) degree in Accounting Sciences at the same university. Bernice then pursued further education and obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Taxation from the University of Pretoria in 2015. Finally, in 2017, Bernice completed their MCom degree in Taxation from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria.
