Jesse started their career at Laser Chemicals (Pty)Ltd, a small to medium chemical manufacturing company, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of various business functions. Jesse held multiple roles, from working on the factory floor to managing office and administrative tasks.

In 2019, Jesse joined Cartrack as a Research Analyst. Jesse played a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of the business by conducting market research, analyzing new business opportunities in the telematics industry, and assisting in the formulation of strategy. Jesse also collaborated with sales, marketing, and product teams.

From 2019 to 2021, they worked at VAT IT as an Indirect Tax Consultant and later as a Senior Strategic Account Manager. In these roles, they assisted in the recovery of indirect taxes for leading organizations worldwide. Jesse built and maintained strong client relationships, pursued new business opportunities, managed projects and teams, and provided expert advice on indirect tax recovery and compliance matters.

Currently, Jesse is employed at SA Taxi as a Product Manager - Insurance. Jesse specializes in insurance and has a track record of developing innovative products for B2C and B2B markets. Jesse was involved in the development of a VAF startup and the subsequent build of the insurance division. Jesse has excellent skills in stakeholder management, working across legal, compliance, system development, marketing, sales, and claims.

Jesse Wilensky, MBA, FMVA®, has a diverse education history that includes both undergraduate and postgraduate studies. In 2010, they earned their NSC matric certificate from Bishops Diocesan College. Jesse then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree, majoring in Political Sciences & History at the University of Cape Town, which they completed in 2018. During their time at the university, Jesse also completed an Honors program in Entrepreneurship & Business Management at the Graduate School of Business.

Continuing their educational journey, Jesse enrolled in The Manchester Metropolitan University in 2020 to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, which they expect to complete in 2022.

In addition to their formal degrees, Jesse has obtained various certifications related to finance and data analytics. Jesse completed the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) program offered by the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) in 2021.
