Praveen R

Praveen R is a Research Engineer at Saama since May 2022, previously holding the role of System Engineer. Prior to Saama, Praveen worked as an Assistant System Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from January 2021 to May 2022, focusing on Python backend development for media analytics, involving technologies such as AWS, Postgres DB, Apache Airflow, and Flask microservices. Praveen gained experience as a Computer Vision Intern at Oxford Brookes University from September 2020 to April 2021, concentrating on self-supervised learning for action recognition through real-time data ingestion and deep learning model development. Additionally, Praveen worked as a Deep Learning Application Developer at Technocolabs in late 2020. Currently, Praveen is pursuing a Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning through the BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes, following a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
